In Homeschool Tracker Plus Copy and paste the first paragraph of the Description of the Examination into your course description then add the Knowledge and Skills Required to your goals. Use these as you goals even with young students.
If you do not already Own Homeschool Tracker Plus there is a link on the front page of my site.
 Early civilizations such as Rome or Egypt are part of Western civilization 1 so use that course when your studying them. Make Lap books and your student can review the work from time to time to maintain knowledge!
Geography Is integrated into each course and will not be taught as a separate course here.

You are there is a great audio file that helps you "relive" events of history.
Frontier Fighters is good too.
Inheritance is also a good old program.

I used the History Chanel Teacher's Guides for all of these courses as well as the Arts and Entertainment channel Guides were used as well.
I really like Draw Space which has free drawing lessons for all ages!
